MAKING HISTORY

Edouard Glissant is widely acknowledged as being one of the most important Caribbean writers of the past half-century and was nominated for the Nobel Prize in literature.

Linton Kwesi Johnson is the father of Dub poetry and in 2002 became the only second living poet and first black poet to have his work published in Penguin's Modern Classic series.

These old friends meet on a summer's day in New York...  while a young woman is dwelling through the city nighttime, lost in between longing and belonging.
